Mr Hobby, Mr Avis & Mr Nicholls usually see private patients at The Hampshire Clinic on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons and occasionally at The Candover Clinic. They operate privately at The Hampshire Clinic or The Candover Clinic on Tuesday afternoons or Thursday mornings.
Mr Hobby, Mr Avis & Mr Nicholls are happy to see private patients whether they have private medical insurance or are self-pay.
Outpatient Treatment
Fees for outpatient consultations with Mr Hobby, Mr Avis & Mr Nicholls are:-
Initial consultation £250
Follow-up consultation £125
You will also receive a separate account from The Hampshire Clinic for the use of outpatient facilities such as x-ray, changes of plaster, injections, etc.
Inpatient Treatment
If you require surgical treatment you will be admitted either as a day case patient or as an inpatient, depending on the type of the procedure. The cost of this treatment usually consists of three parts:-
- Mr Hobby's, Mr Avis' or Mr Nicholls' charge
- The Anaesthetist’s charge
- The Hampshire Clinic or Candover Suite charge
You will receive separate invoices for each part of your inpatient stay.
Sometimes at the time of operation it becomes apparent that a slightly different procedure would be in your best interest. The fee charged will be for the actual procedure undertaken (unless a fixed price quote has been agreed).
Health Insurance
If you have medical health insurance Mr Hobby's, Mr Avis' or Mr Nicholls' fees will be covered up to the limit that your policy dictates. Once your claim form has been completed, we will forward it directly to your insurance company.
If there is a dispute with your insurance company it would be appreciated if you would settle Mr Hobby's, Mr Avis' or Mr Nicholls' account yourself during your negotiations.
Reminders
If accounts are not settled, reminders will be sent through to you only. Please remember that the contract for services is between you and Mr Hobby, Mr Avis or Mr Nicholls and not between Mr Hobby, Mr Avis or Mr Nicholls and your insurance company.
Self-Pay Patients
If you do not have medical insurance all invoices will be sent directly to yourself.
Fixed Price Packages
The Hampshire Clinic offer a fixed price for surgery for patients who are not insured. The price quoted will not include the cost of the initial consultation fee, but will cover the costs of pre-operative tests, the surgery, changes of dressings, removal of sutures, and a follow-up consultation.
